A dataset on public financial institutions and their climate focus

This is a comprehensive dataset comprising various types of public financial institutions (PFIs) existing in different financial systems. Using textual analysis, we evaluate PFIs’ climate focus, offering a comparable climate focus index for extensive samples and filling the gap of missing consistent and transparent climate finance data for research. This dataset aims to catalyse more empirical research on the operations, performance, and impacts of PFIs in addressing climate change, enhancing our understanding of these significant investors and optimising their potential.本数据集为综合性数据集，涵盖不同金融体系内的各类公共金融机构（Public Financial Institutions，PFIs）。本研究通过文本分析方法评估各公共金融机构的气候关注度，可为大规模样本提供可比较的气候关注度指数，并填补当前研究中缺乏统一、透明的气候金融数据的空白。本数据集旨在推动更多针对公共金融机构在应对气候变化过程中的运营、绩效与影响的实证研究，加深我们对这类重要投资主体的认知，并充分挖掘其潜在价值。
