Myxobolus squamalis genome and transcriptome

Molecular analyses suggest that the myxozoan species Henneguya salminicola, has lost its mitochondrial genome. To support the loss of mitochondrial genome we compared the genome and transcriptome of Myxobolus squamalis and Heneguya salminicola.

分子分析结果显示，粘孢子虫（myxozoan）物种鲑居尾孢虫（Henneguya salminicola）已丢失其线粒体基因组（mitochondrial genome）。为验证该线粒体基因组的丢失现象，本研究对鳞形粘体虫（Myxobolus squamalis）与鲑居尾孢虫的基因组（genome）及转录组（transcriptome）进行了比较分析。
