Data set__Antidandruf formulation from Aloe vera_ Ocimum sanctum_ and Withania somnifera

This research data set contains data related to antidandruf shampoo using extracts from the leaves of Aloe Vera, Ocimum Sanctum, and Withania Somnifera herbs as an advancement of Ethiopian local herbs via formulation. The presented data gives information on the optimal formulation process for making the herbal antidandruff shampoo. Ethanol-extracted oil from Aloe Vera, Ocimum Sanctum, and Withania Somnifera leaves was used to create three different formulations: F1, F2, and F3. The formulated antidandruff shampoo was evaluated interms of its solid content, foamability, viscosity, dirt dispersion, pH, wetting time, and organoleptic properties. Additionally, the data set includes information on the antifungal activity performance of the Antidandruf shampoo against Malassezia furfur, as determined by disc diffusion and colony count tests. The active chemical components of the leaf-extracted oil were also measured using FTIR.

本研究数据集涵盖以埃塞俄比亚本土草本植物为研发基底，通过制剂开发得到的、采用芦荟（Aloe Vera）、圣罗勒（Ocimum Sanctum）及睡茄（Withania Somnifera）叶片提取物制备的去屑洗发水相关数据。本数据集所呈现的数据包含该草本去屑洗发水的最优制备配方工艺相关信息。研究采用乙醇萃取上述三种草本叶片所得的油脂，制备了F1、F2、F3三种不同配方。随后对所制备的草本去屑洗发水，从固含量、起泡性、黏度、污垢分散性、pH值、润湿时间及感官特性等多个维度开展了性能评价。此外，本数据集还收录了通过纸片扩散法与菌落计数法测定的该去屑洗发水对糠秕马拉色菌（Malassezia furfur）的抗真菌活性性能相关数据。同时，本数据集包含采用傅里叶变换红外光谱（FTIR）对上述叶片萃取油脂中的活性化学成分进行检测所得的相关结果。
