Tropical Cyclones of the Pacific Ocean. Tracks and Parameters of the Motion

Hydrometeorological data on the conditions of the environment are held by the Russian State Fund of data. This dataset was created by RIHMI-WDC in 1981 and containes gridded data for north-west part of Pacific Ocean. Dataset is obtained through conversion of data reseived from USA and additionally in RIHMI-WDC. Locations of cyclones are given for 00.00 ar 12.00 GMT. The archive includes data on the following: movement of a cyclone centre within 12 hours preceding observation (mean velocity and direction of movement), pass by a cyclone centre of 5? and 2,5? squares, type of a cyclone centre movement , data source and other. Data is currently stored on magnetic tape (800 bit/inch).
