The Changing Seasonality of Artic Stream Systems (CSASN) was active from 2010 to 2012. The CSASN goal was to quantify the relative influences of throughflow, lateral inputs, and hyporheic regeneration on the seasonal fluxes C, N, and P in an arctic river network, and to determine how these influences might shift under seasonal conditions that are likely to be substantially different in the future. Whole Stream Metabolism was calculated using dissolved oxygen, discharge, stage, and temperature measured by sondes deployed in the field.
北极溪流系统季节动态变化研究(Changing Seasonality of Artic Stream Systems,CSASN)实施于2010至2012年。该项目的研究目标为:量化穿流(throughflow)、侧向输入以及底栖再生作用对北极河网内碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)季节通量的相对影响程度,并探明在未来可能出现显著差异的季节水文条件下,上述影响因素将如何发生转变。本研究通过野外布设的水质监测探头(sondes)获取的溶解氧、流量、水位及水温数据,计算得到全溪流代谢速率。
