DNA metabarcoding of macroinvertebrate kick samples from Finland (2016). freshwater macroinvertebrates

18 samples from Finish streams were DNA metabarcoded using 4 different primer combinations. Specimens in samples were perviously identified based on morphology as part of the Finish stream monitoring program. The genetic identification of organisms will be compared against the morphological taxa lists. Goal of the study is to evaluate if DNA based taxa lists can give more accurate assessments of stream health than assessments based on morphology.

本研究针对取自芬兰河流的18份样本，采用4种不同的引物组合完成了DNA宏条形码（DNA metabarcoding）检测。作为芬兰河流监测项目的一部分，样本中的标本此前已通过形态学手段完成物种鉴定。研究将对生物体的遗传鉴定结果与形态学类群名录进行比对，旨在评估基于DNA的类群名录是否能够比基于形态学的评估方法更为精准地评价河流健康状况。
