EOS-RS Damage Proxy Map: Mindanao, Philippines, Earthquakes, 13 Oct 2025

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created this preliminary Damage Proxy Map (DPM) depicting areas that are likely damaged in Mindanao, Philippines, due to the Mw7.4 earthquake on 10 Oct 2025 and its aftershocks. This map was derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) before (15 Jun 2025 to 01 Oct 2025) and after (13 Oct 2025) the event.

新加坡地球观测站-遥感实验室（The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab, EOS-RS）制作了这份初步灾害代理地图（Damage Proxy Map, DPM），用以描绘菲律宾棉兰老岛地区因2025年10月10日矩震级7.4级（Mw7.4）地震及其余震造成的疑似受损区域。该地图基于欧洲空间局（European Space Agency, ESA）运营的哥白尼哨兵-1号卫星（Copernicus Sentinel-1）获取的合成孔径雷达（synthetic aperture radar, SAR）影像生成，影像采集时间分别为震前（2025年6月15日至2025年10月1日）与震后（2025年10月13日）。
