* Description: This file contains the result of the experiments to determine the effects of dryness of breeding materials and the sympatric bark beetles Cryphalus laricis on the reproductive success of *Polygraphus proximus*.* Variables: * "Tree_ID": The IDs of the trees from which logs were obtained. * "Log_ID": The IDs of the logs (bolts) used in the experiments. * "Length": length of the logs (m). * "Moisture_content_April": Moisture contents of the logs measured in April. * "Moisture_content_Sept": Moisture contents of the logs measured in September. * "Circumference": The circumferences (cm) of the logs (= circumferences at both cut-ends and the middle/3). * "Area": Area (cm2) of the logs calculated by the length of the logs ("Length") * the circumferences of the logs ("Circumference"). * "Holes_C_laricis": Number of holes made by Cryphalus laricis on the bark. * "Gallery_P_proximus": Number of egg-lyaing galleries under the bark.
