Fungal metagenome of Thinopyrum intermedium (intermediate wheatgrass, kernza) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) was determined in plant tissues and rhizosphere soil. Samples were collected at experimental fields in Belgium, France, and Sweden and ITS1 sequence region was amplified on metagenomic DNA using ITS1 and ITS2 primers to asses total fungal metagenome. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) were studied by sequencing 18S rRNA fragment amplified in two PCR rounds: first with AML2 - NS31 primers and second with AMV4.5NF - AMDGR.

本数据集针对中间偃麦草(Thinopyrum intermedium,别名中间小麦草(intermediate wheatgrass)、kernza)与普通小麦(Triticum aestivum)的植物组织及根际土壤中的真菌宏基因组进行了测定。样本采集自比利时、法国、瑞典的试验田,研究人员利用ITS1与ITS2引物对宏基因组DNA扩增ITS1序列区域,以评估总真菌宏基因组。针对丛枝菌根真菌(Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, AMF),本研究通过对两轮PCR扩增得到的18S rRNA片段进行测序开展相关研究:第一轮扩增采用AML2-NS31引物,第二轮扩增采用AMV4.5NF-AMDGR引物。
