This survey was designed to compare vacation attitudes and experiences and romantic relationship quality. Participants were 470 adults from all over the United States of America (61% female, 39% male) with over 90% between 18-54 years old (recruited on Mturk). Around 75% reported being in a romantic relationship (lengths varied from 1 month to over 20 years) This cross-sectional survey focused on relationship quality measures (passion, satisfaction, and closeness), most recent leisure travel experiences (what type of vacation, who went with them), vacation preferences (e.g., like traveling with friends, romantic partner, etc...), the novelty of experiences on the most recent vacation (adapted from self-expansion). Participants not in a relationships also completed relevant measures. Note: A longitudinal follow-up dataset done with undergraduates which include with very similar variables could also be available IRB approval from Claremont Graduate University (2/4/11) #2/4/2011
