Capture Recapture dataset collected from an intensive monitoring of the marbled newt in a breeding pond located in wester France (Loire Atlantique), near the village of Vigneux de Bretagne. A total of 713 newts (412 males and 301 females) were marked over a breeding season in 2013.<br>
