水汽是地球大气系统中含量最丰富的温室气体,也是影响全球气候变化的关键性因素之一。大气中的水汽改变了大气层的折射率和微波辐射传输特性,因此水汽还是卫星高度计测高和微波辐射计反演算法的重要误差源。本数据产品利用SSM/I、WindSat、GMI、AMSR-E/AMSR2等微波辐射计水汽含量遥感数据,基于最优插值方法生成了2000-2020年期间的日均0.25°分辨率的水汽含量多源遥感数据产品,并利用无线电探空仪实测数据对水汽含量产品进行了精度检验。

Water vapor is the most abundant greenhouse gas in Earth's atmospheric system and one of the critical factors driving global climate change. Water vapor in the atmosphere modifies the atmospheric refractive index and microwave radiation transmission characteristics, thus serving as an important error source for satellite altimetry and microwave radiometer retrieval algorithms. This data product leverages microwave radiometer remote sensing data of water vapor content from sensors including SSM/I, WindSat, GMI, AMSR-E/AMSR2, and generates a multi-source remote sensing data product of water vapor content with a daily average 0.25° spatial resolution for the period 2000–2020 using the optimal interpolation method. Additionally, accuracy validation was conducted for the water vapor content dataset using in-situ measurements from radiosondes.
