The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP) is a frontier region for biogeochemical cycling studies due to its fragile ecosystems and sensitivity to climate change. We selected 23 small rivers on the southeastern QTP, measuring water and sediment properties, land use types, and the abundance of key genes. By proposing a framework to study N removal processes and monitoring the seasonally changes in influence factors of rivers in the region, we can contribute to some methodological support to study the riverine N cycling and N pollution in the QTP. The dataset size is 23KB.

青藏高原(Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, QTP)因生态系统脆弱且对气候变化高度敏感,是生物地球化学循环研究的前沿区域。本研究选取青藏高原东南部的23条小型河流,测定了水体与沉积物性质、土地利用类型以及关键基因丰度。通过构建氮移除过程的研究框架,并监测该区域河流影响因子的季节变化,可为青藏高原河流氮循环与氮污染研究提供方法学支撑。本数据集大小为23KB。
