This study profiled the epigenomes and transcriptomes of total B cell populations from adolescents with peanut-only (single food allergy- SA) and multi-food allergy (MA). We found distinct epigenetic and transcriptomic differences between food allergic patients and controls, in addition to SA- and MA- group specific signatures, with DNA methylation profiles of total B cell populations isolated using flow cytometry from single-food allergic, multi-food allergic, and non-allergic adolescents.
本研究针对仅对花生致敏的单食物过敏(single food allergy, SA)青少年与多重食物过敏(multi-food allergy, MA)青少年的总B细胞群,开展了表观基因组与转录组的特征分析。本研究通过流式细胞术分离单食物过敏、多重食物过敏及非过敏青少年的总B细胞群,并对其DNA甲基化谱进行检测;结果显示,食物过敏患者与健康对照之间存在显著的表观遗传与转录组差异,同时还鉴定出单食物过敏组与多重食物过敏组特有的分子特征。
