Regional crown rot management – Edgeroi

Crown rot (CR) caused predominantly by the fungus Fusarium pseudograminearum (Fp), remains a major constraint to winter cereal production in the northern grains region. Cereal varieties differ in their resistance to crown rot, which can have a significant affect on their relative yield in the presence of this disease.This experiment was one of 11 conducted by NSW DPI in 2016 across central/northern NSW extending into southern Qld; to examine the effects from crown rot on the yield and quality of four barley, three durum and 13 bread wheat varieties.

冠腐病（Crown rot, CR）主要由假禾谷镰孢菌（Fusarium pseudograminearum, Fp）引发，仍是北部谷物产区冬季谷类作物生产的主要限制因素之一。谷类作物品种对冠腐病的抗性存在显著差异，这会显著影响各品种在该病害发生时的相对产量。本实验为2016年新南威尔士州 primary产业部（NSW DPI）在新南威尔士州中北部及延伸至南昆士兰州范围内开展的11项实验之一，旨在探究冠腐病对4个大麦品种、3个硬粒小麦品种以及13个普通小麦（面包小麦）品种的产量与品质的影响。
