Isolate PM593 represents a strain of P. mirabilis which caused a cluster of 3 infections identified at St. James's Hospital, Dublin, Ireland in 2013. In order to identify strain-associated antibiotic resistance and virulence genes underpinning the clonal expansion of this strain, de novo assembly of PM593 was performed. PM593 was isolated from an abdominal swab and exhibits resistance to multiple antibiotics.

分离株PM593为一株奇异变形杆菌（P. mirabilis），该菌株于2013年在爱尔兰都柏林圣詹姆斯医院引发了3例聚集性感染。为明确支撑该菌株克隆扩增的菌株相关性抗生素耐药基因与毒力基因，研究人员对PM593进行了de novo 组装。PM593分离自腹部拭子，且对多种抗生素具有耐药性。
