Ebony State Primary and Secondary (NDVI) Monthly Prevalence Weather Dataset (2010-2018)

The weather data was collected primarily from Nigerian metrological Agency (NiMet) records from 2010-2018, while normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) data was generated through remote application of sentinel-2 and both data was deployed to evaluate and monitor the mean temperature, relative humidity, precipitation growth rate of maize and rice. Specifically circular rice production assumption was examined by obtained values of NDVI in previous years and subsequent years.
Note: The NDVI data was outsource using European Senitel-2, the data cannot be obtained from NiMet at the time of the study, however, can be made available upon request. Also there exist little discrepancy between NiMET data and Senitel-2 imagery at high spatial resolution values. To reduce possible flawed data, average value of both were used.

本数据集的气象数据主要采集自2010至2018年尼日利亚气象局（Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet）的观测记录；归一化差分植被指数（Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI）数据则通过哨兵-2号（Sentinel-2）卫星遥感手段生成。上述两类数据被用于评估与监测玉米、水稻的平均气温、相对湿度、降水量及生长速率。具体而言，本研究通过对比历年及后续年份的NDVI观测值，对水稻循环生产假说展开验证。

注：本研究的NDVI数据依托欧洲哨兵-2号卫星获取，研究开展阶段无法从尼日利亚气象局获取此类数据，如需获取可向研究者提出申请。此外，在高空间分辨率条件下，尼日利亚气象局的观测数据与哨兵-2号卫星影像之间存在小幅偏差。为尽可能减少缺陷数据的影响，本研究采用两类数据的平均值开展分析。
