This dataset supports a cost–benefit analysis of tidal wetland migration strategies in response to coastal flooding driven by sea level rise in Belle Haven, Fairfax County, Virginia. The analysis evaluates three wetland migration scenarios: Constrained Migration (CM), Partially Constrained Migration (PCM), and Unconstrained Migration (UM). Geospatial analyses were conducted to quantify property acquisition costs and changes in flood risk exposure. FEMA Hazus Flood Assessment Structure Tool (based primarily off of Hazus Version 4.0) was used to estimate Average Annualized Losses for coastal flooding under projected conditions for the years 2020, 2040, 2060, and 2080 using depth grids from Virginia’s Coastal Resiliency Master Plan (Version 1). The dataset is intended to support reproducibility, scenario comparison, and future decision-support analyses related to sea level rise adaptation stratergies and coastal flood risk management.
