Shaping of infant B cell receptor repertoires by environmental factors and infectious disease in development

We define distinct environmental exposures associated with the maturation of infant antibody types: infants with impaired skin barriers (eczema) show significant elevation of IgE somatic mutation levels, while infectious disease exposures are correlated with mutation of IgM and IgD antibodies.
