Processed data of grasshoppers, butterflies and moths for analyses of species trend models for the regional WWF Living Planet Index for Belgium

This archive contains pre-processed datasets used for the analysis of species occupancy models, the results of which were used in the calculation of multi-species indices as part of the regional WWF Living Planet Index for Belgium. The datasets are csv files (comma separated and . as decimal mark). For each species group (moths, butterflies and grasshoppers), the following files are available: a species list (files with 'species' in the name) an observations list (files with 'observations' in the name - for butterfly or moth species with two distinct flight periods, also a file with the data for the second generation is available) For one species, <em>Fabriciana adippe</em>, separate files are available with corrected data. The species list files contain the following variables: species_id (unique species id) scientific_name (accepted scientific name according to the GBIF taxonomic backbone) species_name_NL (Dutch species name) species_name_FR (French species name) season_start (n-th day of the year that marks the beginning of the first -and possibly only- generation) season_end (n-th day of the year that marks the end of the first -and possibly only- generation) The observations files contain the following variables: species_id (a unique identifier) year (year of observation) month (month of observation) day (day of observation) julian_day (n-th day of the year) site_id (unique identifier for the 1 km x 1km EEA 1 km x 1 km reference grid square https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/data/eea-reference-grids-2) source (name of data provider) count (max number of sightings for the species for that day and site本归档文件包含用于物种种群占用模型分析的预处理数据集，其分析结果被用于计算多物种种群指数，作为比利时区域世界自然基金会（WWF）地球生命力指数的组成部分。本次提供的数据集均为逗号分隔值（CSV）文件，采用句点作为十进制小数点分隔符。针对每一类物种（蛾类、蝶类与蝗虫类），可获取以下文件：物种名录（文件名包含"species"字样）、观测名录（文件名包含"observations"字样；对于存在两个独立飞行期的蝶类或蛾类物种，还可获取包含第二世代数据的额外文件）。其中，大豹蛱蝶（Fabriciana adippe）的校正数据单独归档为独立文件。物种名录文件包含以下字段：species_id（物种唯一标识符）、scientific_name（依据全球生物多样性信息机构（GBIF）分类主干库确认的科学学名）、species_name_NL（荷兰语物种名称）、species_name_FR（法语物种名称）、season_start（标识首代（亦可能为唯一世代）发生起始的儒略日，即当年第N天）、season_end（标识首代（亦可能为唯一世代）发生结束的儒略日，即当年第N天）。观测文件包含以下字段：species_id（唯一物种标识符）、year（观测年份）、month（观测月份）、day（观测日期）、julian_day（当年第N天的儒略日）、site_id（针对欧洲环境署（EEA）1km×1km参考网格的唯一标识符，详情参见：https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/data/eea-reference-grids-2）、source（数据提供方名称）、count（当日该观测点位下该物种的最大目击个体数）。
