Additional file 2: Table S2. CovR/S phenotype of GAS isolates recovered from the INFECT cohort. Type of infection (poly-/monomicrobial), involvement of septic shock, CovR/CovS mutations as identified by bioinformatics, and CovR/S functionality. Data was published in [51] and re-analyzed based on CovR/S functionality. CovR/S functionality was assessed by literature review (Table S2) and protein structure prediction (Fig. S10).
