This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon monoxide made by Cliff Law during the Sea Vigil research cruise in the Humber estuary and the River Ouse, UK, as part of the Land Ocean Interaction Study (LOIS) and River Atmosphere Coastal Study (RACS). The cruise took place on 1st October 1996 with the spatial coverage of +54N latitude and +0W longitude.
The data set consists of:
-37 measurements of concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved phase) by gas chromatography; and
-37 measurements of saturation of carbon monoxide (CO) in the water column (dissolved phase), computed from concentration.
