This project makes the final purpose the elucidation of the algal bloom generation. Until now, whole genome sequencing of only toxic Microcystis sp. has been advanced. So, in this project, the Draft sequence of Microcystis aeruginosa NIES-44 which is non-toxic Microcystis sp. was performed first.
本项目以阐明藻华的发生机制为最终研究目标。截至目前，仅针对产毒微囊藻属（Microcystis sp.）物种完成了全基因组测序相关工作。因此，本项目首先对作为无毒微囊藻物种的铜绿微囊藻NIES-44（Microcystis aeruginosa NIES-44）开展了草图基因组测序。
