In this study, we present multi-omics profiles with the transcriptome and methylome of three brain regional tissues according to aging. For WGBS, 6 billion paired reads per sample were generated from three brain regional samples, which consisted of the hippocampus, substantia nigra, and striatum at 8 weeks and 24 months. Furthermore, 700 million paired high-quality reads were generated from the same regional and aged brain tissues using RNA-seq.
本研究发布了针对衰老进程的三类脑区组织的多组学图谱,包含转录组与甲基化组数据。针对全基因组亚硫酸氢盐测序(WGBS),本研究从8周龄与24月龄的三类脑区样本(海马体、黑质、纹状体)中,为每个样本生成了60亿条双端读数。此外,本研究通过RNA测序(RNA-seq)技术,对上述同一脑区的不同衰老阶段脑组织进行测序,共生成7亿条高质量双端读数。
