Ecological Footprint of Microplastics in Coastal and Estuarine Environments of India: Sediment-Water Interface Analysis

Microplastic distribution was investigated at different coastal and estuarine regions of India. The chemical nature of microplastic and macroplastic debris was determined using Raman spectroscopy. SEM-EDX was done to analyze the surface morphology of microplastic. The heavy metal concentrations on plastic debris were measured using ICPOES.

本研究对印度境内不同沿海与河口区域的微塑料（Microplastic）分布特征开展了调查。研究采用拉曼光谱（Raman spectroscopy）对微塑料与宏塑料（Macroplastic）碎屑的化学性质进行了测定；通过扫描电子显微镜-能量色散X射线光谱（SEM-EDX）分析了微塑料的表面形貌；并利用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法（ICPOES）测量了塑料碎屑表面的重金属浓度。
