North Atlantic TC size and storm tide reconstructions, 1950-2020

North Atlantic tropical cyclone size (outer size and radius of maximum winds) and storm tide reconstructions from 1950-2020. The reconstruction method utilizes ERA5 reanalysis data to estimate TC outer size and the complete wind profile of Chavas et al. (2015) (CLE15) to estimate TC Rmax. Then storm tides are reconstructed based on estimate sizes, Best Track information, and the hydrodynamic model ADCIRC. See Gori et al. (2023) [DOI to be added] for details.

1950—2020年北大西洋热带气旋尺度（外围尺度与最大风速半径（Radius of Maximum Winds, Rmax））及风暴潮重建数据集。本数据集的重建方案采用ERA5再分析资料估算热带气旋外围尺度，并基于Chavas等（2015）提出的完整风廓线（简称CLE15）估算热带气旋最大风速半径。随后基于估算得到的气旋尺度、热带气旋最佳路径（Best Track）资料以及水动力模型ADCIRC完成风暴潮重建。详细信息请参见Gori等（2023）的研究[DOI待补充]。
