Winter under-ice microbiome of the Great Whale River (Nunavik, Canada).. Great Whale River and marine plume

The objective of this project was to assess winter under-ice microbiome of the Great Whale River (Nunavik, Canada) and its discharge plume into Hudson Bay. Size-fractionated microbial community composition (0.22-3 and >3 micrometres) was determined by high throughput sequencing of the V4 region of the 16S and 18S rRNA and rRNA genes.

本研究旨在评估加拿大努纳维克地区大鲸河冬季冰下微生物组（microbiome）及其向哈得逊湾排放的羽流。通过对16S rRNA、18S rRNA及rRNA基因的V4区进行高通量测序，确定了按粒径分级（0.22~3微米与>3微米）的微生物群落组成。
