KAP Baseline Study Laos Maternal Child Health and Nutrition Project

A Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) study was conducted among women of reproductive age with children under two years in Laos to explore key health and social domains. The study examined women’s understanding, beliefs, and behaviors related to family planning, fertility, maternal and child health and nutrition, and their exposure to media and communication channels. It also explored household dynamics, including gender roles and decision-making, to better understand the contextual factors influencing health outcomes. Findings aim to inform the design of more responsive and culturally relevant interventions to improve the well-being of mothers and young children.

本研究为知识、态度与行为（Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices, KAP）调查，于老挝针对育有两岁以下子女的育龄女性开展，旨在探究核心健康与社会领域相关议题。本调查分析了受访女性在计划生育、生育、母婴健康与营养领域的认知、信念与行为，以及其接触媒体与传播渠道的情况；同时还探讨了包含性别角色与决策模式在内的家庭动态，以更深入地解析影响健康结局的情境化因素。本研究结果旨在为设计更具响应性、更贴合当地文化的干预措施提供参考，以改善母亲与幼儿的福祉。
