In the previous release and for the measurements in this database's subset [HPGMC v2021], a small correction to the electric field strength of ~1.7% was missing. For details see the accompanying pdf. The corrected data is systematically shifted to lower electric field strenghts. All other datasources were not affected. The Institute of Experimental Physics III B at RWTH Aachen University operates the Aachen Gas Database. It consists of a large quantity of simulations and measurements of electron transport parameters in gas mixtures. In-house measurements were done with various detectors of the Gas Monitoring Chamber type (T2K-style Gas Monitoring Chambers and a High Pressure Gas Monitoring Chamber). To date, the simulation data runs were performed with MagBoltz, configured and run through Garfield++ on our local computing cluster, and PyBoltz. Some data was imported from publications, see the run names for the original sources. Currently, the data can be used in two different ways: The Chair of Experimental Physics III B provides a web frontend, available at the link above. Alternatively, the complete database can be downloaded from this page and used locally. Instructions can be found in the accompanying pdf. This version v2021.2 was published in December 2021 and includes the runs up to 26790. The project is still ongoing.

亚琛工业大学(RWTH Aachen University)实验物理III B研究所运营着亚琛气体数据库(Aachen Gas Database)。该数据库涵盖了大量气体混合物中电子输运参数的模拟与实测结果。本所自主开展的测量采用了多款气体监测室(Gas Monitoring Chamber)类型的探测器,包括T2K型气体监测室与高压气体监测室(High Pressure Gas Monitoring Chamber)。
截至目前,模拟数据的生成工作依托MagBoltz、PyBoltz完成,其中MagBoltz的配置与运行通过本地计算集群上的Garfield++工具实现。部分数据引自已发表文献,原始来源可查阅对应运行任务的名称。
当前该数据库提供两种使用途径:其一,实验物理III B课题组(Chair of Experimental Physics III B)提供了网页前端,访问入口即为本页上方链接;其二,可从本页面下载完整数据库文件并在本地部署使用,操作说明详见随附PDF。
本次发布的v2021.2版本完成于2021年12月,收录了编号至26790的所有运行任务数据。本项目仍在持续更新中。
