全类群动物数据集(whole-fauna dataset)的多样性与未修剪海王星数据集(untrimmed Neptune dataset)的抽样多样性对比。图A与图B分别对应本研究所用全类群动物数据集的样本内物种丰富度(in-sample species richness)与延限多样性(range-through diversity)。图C为基于未修剪海王星数据集,通过五种不同抽样方法计算得到的多样性结果:UW(黑线)、OW(黑色虚线)、CR(浅灰色线)、O2W(浅灰色虚线)以及SQS(深灰色粗线)。地磁地层学(magnetostratigraphy)数据取自Berggren等人(1995)的研究。
