This dataset is developed by collecting and analyzing quarterly consumption-related data of molybdenum ingots from overseas customers, to understand customers' purchasing power levels and consumption preferences for molybdenum ingots, verify whether the product has strong market demand, and formulate precise marketing and export strategies for all enterprises in the industry. Targeted customer communication can be carried out accordingly: 1 to 2 times per month with high-tier customers, 1 to 2 times per quarter with mid-tier customers, and 1 to 2 times every six months with low-tier customers, so as to develop more accurate marketing and export strategies. 1. Data Collection: Collect quarterly transaction data related to molybdenum ingots from overseas customers. 2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis. 3. Algorithm Processing: Demand Index = (Minimum single-order quantity / Maximum single-order quantity + Minimum single-order consumption amount / Maximum single-order consumption amount) * k, where k is a coefficient that differs across various non-ferrous metal types. According to empirical values, the k value for molybdenum ingots is set to 1.09. 4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide customers into "high-tier", "mid-tier" and "low-tier" categories and levels based on the calculated demand level. Specifically, customers with a score of 1.5 and above are marked as "high-tier customers", those with a score in the range of 1.2 to 1.5 are marked as "mid-tier customers", and those with a score of 1.2 and below are marked as "low-tier customers", to help enterprises better understand customer demands.
