Histoplasma capsulatum, a dimorphic fungal pathogen, is the most common cause of fungal respiratory infections in immunocompetent hosts. Histoplasma is endemic in the Ohio and Mississippi River Valleys in the United States and also distributed worldwide. We re-sequenced five Histoplasma strains (WU24 (NAm 1), G217B (NAm 2), H88 (African), G186AR (Panama), and G184AR (Panama)) using Oxford Nanopore long-read sequencing technology. Here we report the assembly of the G184AR strain.
荚膜组织胞浆菌(Histoplasma capsulatum)是一种双态性真菌病原体,亦是免疫功能正常宿主中真菌性呼吸道感染的最常见致病菌。该菌在美国俄亥俄河谷与密西西比河流域呈地方性流行,同时在全球范围内均有分布。本研究采用牛津纳米孔长读长测序(Oxford Nanopore long-read sequencing)技术,对5株组织胞浆菌菌株(WU24(NAm 1)、G217B(NAm 2)、H88(非洲型)、G186AR(巴拿马型)及G184AR(巴拿马型))进行了重测序。本文报道了G184AR菌株的基因组组装结果。
