Particle abundance at station GeoB24817-4 during RV Maria S. MERIAN cruise MSM107

The Remotely Observing INsitu Camera for Aggregates (ROSINA) were deployed during RV MARIA S. MERIAN cruise MSM107, off NW Ireland, Atlantic Ocean. The system consists of an optical camera capable of operating at depths exceeding 4000 m and a control unit. It captured images of particles within a water volume of 82.5 ml, quantifying particle sizes down to 30 µm in equivalent spherical diameter. ROSINA data were collected at three stations: GeoB24817 in the open ocean, GeoB24822 on the lower continental slope, and GeoB24814 on the upper continental slope. Particle abundance was measured at each of these stations.

颗粒物聚集体原位远程观测相机（Remotely Observing INsitu Camera for Aggregates，简称ROSINA）于大西洋爱尔兰西北外海海域，在玛利亚·S·梅里安号（RV MARIA S. MERIAN）科考船第MSM107航次中完成部署。该系统由可在4000米以上深度作业的光学相机与控制单元构成，可对82.5毫升水体范围内的颗粒物进行成像，并可量化等效球形直径低至30微米的颗粒物粒径。ROSINA数据集采集自三个站位：公海海域的GeoB24817、大陆坡下部的GeoB24822，以及大陆坡上部的GeoB24814。上述三个站位均完成了颗粒物丰度的测量。
