Data and code for a matched-condition and compatibility-aware validation framework for assessing the transferability of data-driven models: Application to single-droplet evaporation

This repository provides the curated data, analysis code, model artifacts,and reproducibility materials supporting the manuscript entitled“Grouped-validation-based reliability and applicability-boundary diagnosisfor n-heptane/n-decane single-droplet evaporation heat and mass transfermodeling.” The repository contains a manually reviewed P001 condition-level databasewith 476 records, including 303 n-heptane cases and 173 n-decane cases.It also contains data dictionaries, grouped-validation outputs,matched-subset d_eddy diagnostics, V005 quantitative multi-axisout-of-domain boundary-test results, figure-source data, analysis scripts,frozen-model metadata, integrity manifests, and repository consistencyreports. Random splitting is provided only as an in-domain reference. Groupedvalidation and hierarchical external-evidence assessment are used todiagnose reliability and model applicability boundaries. Source publications, publisher PDFs, copyrighted figures, screenshots,and other third-party source materials are not redistributed in thisrepository.
