Diatoms from disconnected pools in temporary rivers (Catalonia, Spain)

This dataset includes 53 sites encompassing diatom counts and associated water chemistry parameters from disconnected pools from temporary rivers (Catalonia, Spain). Diatom data represents epilythic samples collected from May to September in 2021. The dataset has been formatted following the standards of the Tropical South American Diatom Database (https://zenodo.org/records/5721364)--a database constituent of Neotoma (www.neotomadb.org), a global community-curated database by regional experts for multiple types of paleoecological data--and as part of the project "DiatomS mEEt Databases: resources and practices to enable large-scale ecological research (SEED)" funded by the International Society for Diatom Research (https://isdr.org/early-career-networking-award/).本数据集涵盖西班牙加泰罗尼亚地区临时河流互不连通池沼的53个采样点数据，包含硅藻计数结果及配套水化学参数。其中硅藻数据为2021年5月至9月采集的附石（epilythic）样本。本数据集的格式遵循南美热带硅藻数据库（Tropical South American Diatom Database，https://zenodo.org/records/5721364）的规范——该数据库隶属于Neotoma数据库（https://www.neotomadb.org），而Neotoma是由区域专家社区共同维护的全球多类型古生态数据共建数据库；同时本数据集也是由国际硅藻研究学会（International Society for Diatom Research，https://isdr.org/early-career-networking-award/）资助的“硅藻与数据库相遇：支撑大规模生态研究的资源与实践（SEED）”项目的组成部分。
