Flow Monitoring Tumbes (Entries), Q2 2021

UNHCR Peru undertakes flow monitoring of Venezuelan refugees and migrants to analyze their movement dynamics at the border, their protection needs and vulnerabilities. For the most part, families in transit are walking or asking for hitchhiking and crossing the borders using irregular routes, which increases protection risks along the way. The analysis of this information contributes to the design of responses to mitigate these protection risks. The results are not statistically representative and should be considered as a general indicator of the trends.

联合国难民署（UNHCR）秘鲁办事处针对委内瑞拉难民及移民开展流动监测工作，旨在分析其在边境区域的流动态势、保护需求与脆弱性特征。绝大多数过境家庭依靠步行或搭便车，经由非正规路线跨境，此举大幅提升了旅途中的保护风险。对该监测信息的分析可为制定缓解此类保护风险的应对方案提供支撑。本监测结果不具备统计代表性，仅可作为反映相关趋势的一般性参考指标。
