Expression data from actinic lentigines in European volunteers

Actinic lentigines (AL) are very common hyperpigmented lesions that develop on chronically sun-exposed skin and represent a visible sign of skin ageing. In this study, a homogeneous group of advanced AL lesions was selected using epiluminescence imaging and pigmented pattern scoring. Gene expression profiling was performed on AL compared with adjacent non lesional (NL) skin. Thirteen European women aged 51-67 years, phototype II-III were included in the study. Pairs of 3-mm biopsies (AL lesion and adjacent NL skin) were obtained on the back of hands from each volunteer.

日光性雀斑样痣（Actinic Lentigines，AL）是一类极为常见的色素沉着性皮损，好发于长期日晒的皮肤，是皮肤老化的直观体征。本研究通过表皮发光成像（epiluminescence imaging）及色素模式评分法，筛选出一组均质化的进展期AL皮损。随后以相邻非皮损皮肤（non lesional，NL）为对照，对AL皮损开展了基因表达谱分析。本研究共纳入13名年龄51~67岁、皮肤光型为II-III型的欧洲女性受试者，每位受试者均于手背部位采集3mm大小的配对活检组织样本，分别对应AL皮损及相邻NL皮肤。
