The *Kana Sanni Yakka* demon of southern Sri Lanka is believed to be responsible for blindness. This depiction of the demon is used by specialists who lure the demons out of the victim using this mask in elaborate ceremonies. This mask is dated to somewhere in the 19-20th century.
