4d、5d族过渡金属氧化物薄膜结构表征数据集是由北京师范大学与清华大学联合建立的数据库查询网站，张金星研究组建立了“功能氧化物薄膜及量子现象探测与调控”实验室，拥有多套分子束外延的基础上同时已经搭建两套原位扫描探针（UHV-SPM）系统(2-300K/８T和25-1500K)，利用极端条件 AFM(Q-plus, conducting-AFM, MFM/PFM 等)，STM/STS 及SP-STM 等功能研究4d、5d 过渡金属氧化物及异质结构中的量子序参量的共存与竞争，以及衍生出的新奇物理现象。
The structural characterization dataset for 4d and 5d group transition metal oxide thin films is hosted on a joint database query website established by Beijing Normal University and Tsinghua University. The research group led by Prof. Zhang Jinxing established the Laboratory for "Functional Oxide Thin Films and Quantum Phenomena Detection and Regulation", which is equipped with multiple molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems and two in-situ ultra-high vacuum scanning probe microscopy (UHV-SPM) systems (2–300 K/8 T and 25–1500 K). Using extreme-condition characterization techniques including Q-plus AFM, conductive AFM, MFM/PFM, as well as scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy (STM/STS) and spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (SP-STM), the group investigates the coexistence and competition of quantum order parameters in 4d and 5d transition metal oxides and their heterostructures, as well as the derived novel physical phenomena.
