In this study, 50 kg N ha<sup>−1</sup> yr<sup>−1 </sup>was applied to the canopy of <i>C. chinensis</i> in a subtropical forest in south China from 2013‒2016. Then, the dynamics of xylem formation were monitored during 2015 and 2016 using microcore sampling. In the data set, the width of cambium cells, enlargment cells, wall-thickening cells and mature cells were recorded during 2015 and 2016.
本研究于2013—2016年,在中国南方亚热带森林的C. chinensis林冠层施加了50千克氮·公顷⁻¹·年⁻¹的氮肥。2015年和2016年期间,采用微取芯采样法(microcore sampling)对木质部形成的动态变化进行了监测。本数据集记录了2015年与2016年间,形成层细胞(cambium cells)、膨大细胞(enlargment cells)、细胞壁增厚细胞(wall-thickening cells)以及成熟细胞(mature cells)的宽度数据。
