Age-dependent memory impairment in Drosophila

Aging is known to impair intermediate-term memory and protein synthesis-dependent long-term memory in Drosophila. We try to reveal the mechanism of age-dependent memory impairment by RNA-seq analysis of fly brains to examine age-dependent changes in their transcription.

已有研究表明，衰老会损害果蝇（Drosophila）的中期记忆以及依赖蛋白质合成的长期记忆。本研究拟通过对果蝇脑部开展RNA测序（RNA-seq）分析，检测其转录组的年龄依赖性变化，以此揭示年龄依赖性记忆损伤的作用机制。
