Insyte study - evaluation of the impact of a synbiotics in NAFLD patients

Participants with NAFLD were randomised to 10-14 months intervention with either synbiotic (fructooligosaccharides; 4 g/day+Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BB-12) (n=55) or placebo (n=49).
