This work has been submitted to The Astrophysical Journal Letters and currently under review. This project uses 3D MHD simulations with the MURaM code to study plume-rooted upflows in coronal holes. Results show that plasma outflows guided by Quasi-Separatrix Layers (QSLs) offer a pathway to sustain the solar wind without interchange reconnection.
本研究已提交至《天体物理学杂志快报》(The Astrophysical Journal Letters),目前处于审稿阶段。本项目采用MURaM代码开展三维磁流体动力学(Magnetohydrodynamics, MHD)模拟,针对冕洞内日冕羽状结构根部的上行流展开研究。研究结果表明,由准分界层(Quasi-Separatrix Layers, QSLs)引导的等离子体外流,为无需交换重联即可维持太阳风提供了一条可行路径。
