Data Set: Adhara Peer Intervention

This study aimed to assess the impact of a peer intervention programme in the hospital setting to improve the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of people recently diagnosed with HIV infection. <br> A quasi-experimental single-group study with pre- and post-measurements was conducted. The peer intervention programme consisted of four sessions that took place at the following times: (1) the day of diagnosis, (2) the day when the results of the analyses were collected and ART (antiretroviral therapy) began, (3) 1 month after the start of ART, and (4) 4 months after the start of ART. The dependent variables were HRQoL and several psychological predictors of HRQoL.

本研究旨在评估医院环境下开展的同伴干预项目对新近确诊HIV感染者健康相关生活质量（Health-Related Quality of Life, HRQoL）的改善效果。本研究采用准实验单组前后测设计进行。该同伴干预项目共包含4次干预环节，实施时间分别为：(1) 确诊当日；(2) 领取检测结果并启动抗逆转录病毒治疗（antiretroviral therapy, ART）当日；(3) 抗逆转录病毒治疗启动后1个月；(4) 抗逆转录病毒治疗启动后4个月。本研究的因变量为健康相关生活质量（HRQoL）及其多项心理预测因子。
