An Underwater Cultural Resources Survey of a Proposed Marina on Battery Creek

This report presents the results of underwater archaeological survey investigations conducted in June 2008. Brockington and Associates, Inc., of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, contracted Diversified Wilbanks, Inc., to conduct an underwater cultural resources survey of Battery Creek adjacent to the land in Port Royal, South Carolina, formerly occupied by the South Carolina State Ports Authority. The survey was pursuant to the development of this area into a city marina for the town of Port Royal, South Carolina.
This addendum report will be combined with Cultural Resources Survey and Testing of the Port Royal Harbour Redevelopment Tract, Beaufort County, South Carolina (in process, Jateff et al. 2008), as approved.
