数据内容:本数据集为青藏高原东南缘地幔橄榄岩分析测试结果及地震波计算结果,EBSD测试结果得到了橄榄岩内主要矿物橄榄石、辉石的晶体取向数据(CPO)。地震波属性是基于EBSD数据通过mtex软件计算获得。 数据来源及加工方法:EBSD分析在北京大学地球与空间科学学院造山带与地壳演化重点实验室使用配备EBSD探头的FEI FEG-650扫描电镜完成。加速电压为 20kV,工作距离为 18 mm。,为了避免矿物粒径给取向差密度函数(ODF)计算带来的误差,我们使用HKL Aztec软件EBSD点分析模式手动采集了主要矿物晶体取向数据(CPO)。 数据质量描述:样品为27mm x 47mm标准薄片,EBSD测试采取手动点分析模式,避免了矿物粒径给取向差密度函数(ODF)计算带来的误差,且去掉了不准确的识别点(MAD > 1.3°),数据质量高,可信度强。 数据应用成果及前景:通过EBSD数据分析,可用于岩石地震波属性计算及青藏高原东南缘上地幔变形模式研究。

Data Content: This dataset comprises analytical test results of mantle peridotites and seismic wave calculation results from the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau. The EBSD test results provide crystal preferred orientation (CPO) data of the primary minerals olivine and pyroxene within the peridotites. Seismic wave attributes were calculated using MTEX software based on the EBSD data. Data Source and Processing Methods: EBSD analysis was performed at the Key Laboratory of Orogenic Belts and Crustal Evolution, School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University, using a FEI FEG-650 scanning electron microscope equipped with an EBSD detector. The accelerating voltage was set to 20 kV, and the working distance was 18 mm. To eliminate errors in orientation density function (ODF) calculations induced by mineral grain sizes, we manually collected the CPO data of the main minerals via the EBSD point analysis mode in the HKL Aztec software. Data Quality Description: The samples are standard thin sections with dimensions of 27 mm × 47 mm. The EBSD test adopted the manual point analysis mode, which avoids errors in ODF calculations caused by mineral grain sizes, and we removed inaccurate identification points (MAD > 1.3°). The data is of high quality and strong reliability. Data Application Achievements and Prospects: Analysis of the EBSD data can be utilized for calculating rock seismic wave attributes and investigating the upper mantle deformation patterns of the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau.
