Deep sequencing of hepatitis C viral genomes for UK retreatment patients

Deep sequencing of hepatitis C viral genomes was performed for UK patients at three research sites. The patients were a "retreatment" cohort in the sense that they had failed to clear the virus after prior rounds of antiviral therapy, and were scheduled to receive further antiviral therapy. The sequencing project has a range of goals including an investigation into the relevance of resistance-associated substitutions within the viral genome.本研究针对英国三家研究中心的丙型肝炎病毒（Hepatitis C Virus, HCV）感染者开展了HCV基因组深度测序。该队列属于再治疗队列，具体指受试者在既往多轮抗病毒治疗后仍未能清除病毒，且计划接受新一轮抗病毒治疗。本测序项目涵盖多项研究目标，其中包括探究病毒基因组内耐药相关碱基替换的相关性。
