BORA DNA dataset

Human chromosome 17 (GRCh38.p14, RefSeq NC_000017.11) paired with 27,565 pathogenic and likely-pathogenic variants from NCBI ClinVar release 20260523, encoded into the formats used by the BORA and Reef regular-expression proof systems. Contents: the reference sequence in FASTA and packed forms; per-variant detail files and bgzipped, tabix-indexed VCFs; 27,500 generated Reef regexes; ClamAV-syntax equivalents; five synthetic carrier sequences; and full generation logs under docs/. The five carrier sequences are synthetic, produced by applying ClinVar variants to the public reference with bcftools consensus. No individual's genome is present in this archive. Licensing: the NCBI data carries no licence and requires none (United States Government work, redistribution unrestricted). reef/ contains Reef (https://github.com/eniac/Reef) at commit 464bdb0, MIT licensed, (c) 2024 University of Pennsylvania | Distributed Systems Lab, with a 23-line instrumentation patch of ours applied and disclosed in full as reef/reef-metrics.patch. All generated files are released under CC0. See PROVENANCE.md.
