This Part 1 of deliverable 7.2 presents the design and prototyping of a batterymodule tailored for aeronautical applications, building on the requirements and usecase defined in Deliverable D7.1. The module architecture has been engineered tosatisfy the mechanical, thermal, electrical, safety, and integration constraintsassociated with the electrification of anti icing systems in hybrid electric and moreelectric aircraft. The proposed solution targets installation of battery mo dules withinthe fuselage of a n airpla ne.Part 2 of deliverable 7.2will address the topics of procurement, real life assembly,manufacturing, mountability and the criticalities encountered in the manufacturingof the aeronautical module prototypes.
