These are conjugation in Ecoli samples. The cells are the ANB35 cells (donor) and ANB24 . cells (recipient), More information on these strains can be found in the paper (Direct . visualization of horizontal gene transfer). These are tomograms from (square 6) in Grid 1 . from box 4 (See William's notes for more information). There are cryoLM data for this grid . obtained during the Linkam stage demo.
